it did not make sense this are some books I recommend wonder & roller girl
I am glad that I read this book before letting my 7 yr old have it. The mother mouse has 19 babies in two different litters, and 17 of them are killed in various ways. Poison, owls, weasels, you name it. The story of Flora was a good one, but all of the accompanying destruction was not something my sensitive child could handle.
